Design Challenge: This doorless, windowless bathroom opened onto the large master bedroom. The clients wanted to improve privacy and add a double vanity, so they could comfortably share the bathroom.
Solution: Indicia reconfigured the bathroom while avoiding costly toilet relocation. This remodeled bathroom has a pocket door for privacy and a window for natural light. Because the shower was repositioned, it could be larger and now includes a bench and multiple shower heads. The bath’s double vanity with Silestone® countertop and dual medicine cabinets readily accommodate two people. Clear maple custom linen storage and a matching vanity provide attractive functionality. The carpet was replaced with porcelain tile and in-floor heating that ensures comfort. Today, the bath’s muted color palette, improved layout and lighting transform it into a restful, private and functional space.
